During the Generator conference four teams consisting of creative entrepreneurs from around Sweden will be working working to come up with solutions to challenges identified by the some of our Swedish regions. The regional challenges are based on issues that these regions are dealing with in their daily work with developing and supporting the cultural and creative industries.
You will be able to follow the teams while brainstorming, mapping and solving the challenges. On Wednesday all the teams will present their work! The four teams are:
1. Gävleborg and Örebro
Challenge: How can we contribute to making industry and the public sector qualified buyers of products and services from the cultural and creative industries?
Gustaf Lord, Representing Gaffeln (Gävle’s studio compound)

Gustaf Lord works with graphic design, illustration, design, animation, cartoons, film and art. He also writes his thesis on the subject “Employment within the creative industries”.

Challenge: How can Sweden’s cultural heritage be digitalized?

Albin Ponnert works as filmmaker and multimedia entrepreneur. He is also the founder of EnjoySweden.

Kristina Björkman works with gamification and serious games to create new knowledge and change behaviours.

Challenge: How can we build bridges between the industry and the cultural sector in the municipalities?

Johanna Blylod is a happy, positive and creative exhibition designer with a sense of form and content.
4. Östsam
Challenge: How can we create an exciting melting pot around the old cultural quarter in central Linköping?

Joanna Pierre Foucard works as a colour consultant; by colour she creates nice environments that will make people feel better. She wants to bring colour into people’s everyday life and make it easier, friendlier and prettier.
Lisa Bengtsson, Lisa Benk, Lisabenk.se
Lisa Bengtsson thinks Bengtsson is boring and already taken, so she refers to herself as Benk. She is a graduate within graphic design from Linköping’s university. She paints, takes photos and scans, move objects and changes colour scales indefinitely.
